Information Gathered
On our Web site, you can become a Sea Smart
subscriber/Sea Tow member, renew your subscription/membership, and link
to our sister site, www.seatow.com. At www.seatow.com, you can register
for a MMSI number (which is an essential component of the Sea
Smart Subscription service), buy/renew a Sea Tow membership,
buy a gift membership, subscribe to our magazine, order products, and
request information. The types of personal information collected at
these pages may include your name, address, contact and billing information,
transaction and credit card information and information about your boat.
In order to continuously improve our products and services,
we may also ask you to provide us with information regarding your personal
or professional interests, demographics, experience with our products
and services and more detailed contact preferences.
When you access our Web site, we may automatically collect
information that is not personally-identifiable (e.g., the type of browser
and computer operating system you use; the domain name of the web site
from which you came; the number of visits, average time spent, pages
viewed). We may use this information and share it with our worldwide
affiliates to measure the use of our Web sites and improve their content.

Sea Smart uses your information to better
understand your needs and to provide you with better service. Specifically,
we use your information to help you complete transactions, to communicate

identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to
the ones described above without first letting you know and offering
you a choice. We will also provide you the opportunity to let us know
if you do not wish to receive unsolicited direct marketing materials
from us and we will do everything we can to honor such requests.
Your permission is always secured first, should we ever

summary of any personal information retained by Sea
Smart. You may modify, correct, change or update your personal
information or cause it to be removed from Sea
